1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ShadowEcho ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on ShadowEcho's website/extension for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title.
3. Purchases & Billing
ShadowEcho offers a free tier and paid Pro access via one-time passes (7-day or 30-day). A pass is a single purchase — it does not auto-renew, requires no cancellation, and ends automatically on its expiry date. Buying a new pass while one is active extends your expiry date by the full duration of the new pass.
Legacy monthly subscriptions (purchased before the pass model was introduced) remain active and are billed monthly until cancelled.
4. Disclaimer
The materials on ShadowEcho's website are provided on an 'as is' basis. ShadowEcho makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy or reliability of the AI feedback or learning outcomes.
5. Refunds
Passes are one-time purchases that end automatically — no cancellation is needed. (Legacy monthly subscribers may cancel anytime via account settings; Pro features remain until the end of the current billing cycle.)
Refund Policy: We offer a limited refund policy for first-time buyers.

To request a refund, please contact support within the 48-hour window. Refunds for legacy monthly subscriptions follow the policy in effect at the time of subscription (14-day window, pro-rata adjustment).
6. Limitations
In no event shall ShadowEcho or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the materials.
